HPV can cause cervical cancer, but not all types of the virus are dangerous.

HPV is classified into low-risk and high-risk groups, with typically only the high-risk types infecting the cervix and causing cellular changes that may lead to cancer.

Cervical dysplasia, which involves abnormal changes in cervical cells or tissues, can progress to cervical cancer at stages 2 and 3. Therefore, early detection, treatment, and prevention are crucial,

CIN 1 mild condition where abnormal cells are limited to the lower third of the cervix.

CIN 2 moderate condition where abnormal cells extend up to two-thirds of the cervix.

CIN 3 severe condition where abnormal cells spread throughout the entire cervix

and considered just before the development of cancer.

( * CIN : Cervical Intraepithelialr Neoplasia )
